Just a stone's throw from the ocean, King's Point's shoreline is rocky and not easily accessed, however guests have the use of three private association waterfront areas - an ocean dock, ocean swimming beach, and Walker Pond lake beach. Hike the easy and nearby Lookout Rock Nature Preserve for spectacular views of Eggemoggin Reach, Penobscot Bay, and the Camden Hills.   Whether you want to take day trips to explore the Downeast area and Acadia National Park, or simply enjoy the natural beauty of the Maine coast, King’s Point is an ideal cottage for a Maine seaside vacation.  Guests choosing King's Point happily settle in and appreciate its simple, comfortable charm, lovingly maintained by the owners, whose family has owned the land since deeded to them by the King of England.   Tastefully furnished with comfortable beds, quality linens, a washer and dryer, and kitchen that includes the essentials and more, the cottage is open, airy, and clean.  A gas-fired stove along with electric heat is available for occasional chilly evenings.  Outside, guests will have privacy on the oceanside deck overlooking the historic Eggemoggin Reach and Little Deer Isle.
