Spend time on beautiful Toddy Pond in this comfortably furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom log cabin that sleeps six. The small private beach allows easy, shallow, walk-in access, and the lengthy dock is great for fishing. Enjoy relaxing paddles in the 2 single kayaks and canoe, exploring the shoreline and nearby islands, or swim out to the float. Have cornhole competitions on the expanasive lawn or relax with a good book in the hammock. A week on Toddy Pond watching bald eagles and listening to the loons is magical and oh so rejuvenating.
The cabin's main floor is charmingly decorated and includes the living area with large screen satellite TV, a well equipped kitchen, dining table for six, two bedrooms with queen beds and ceiling fans, and a full bath. The loft, easily accessed by stairs, has a queen bed, second bathroom, and geothermal heat pump for cooling and warming.
The screened porch, with rocking chairs and a high-top table with stools, is the favorite spot in the cabin for meaningful conversation and family time.
Things to note:
-Acadia National Park is an hour's drive from this property - a great day trip for guests!
-While there is no washer/dryer, laundromats are located in nearby Blue Hill and Bucksport if needed. The Blue Hill Laundromat is within walking distance of The Fish Net, a favorite ice cream, seafood and burger take-out.
-There are a Keurig and auto drip coffee maker.
-Your well-behaved, non-aggressive dog is welcomed, with prior approval, a signed dog agreement, and an additional $200. Please tell us about your dog when sending a booking request.
-Max occupancy is four adults and four children (there is room for an air mattress (which is provided) in the loft). Let us know if you will need it.
-Lobster delivery! Order lobsters freshly caught that day from the owner's boat, the FV Dear Abbie. Order ahead and plan an evening enjoying lobsters delivered to your door.
-Sunday to Sunday reservations.

Cancellation Policy for all of our Rental Properties:
Cancellation requests must be provided in writing. The Cancellation Policy is strictly followed and we encourage renters to purchase trip insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
If the Renter desires to cancel this reservation at any time prior to the arrival date, BHBPR will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement Renter for the same time period at comparable rental rates. If no replacement Renter is procured, the entire invoiced amount for the reservation will be due as scheduled, and all deposits paid shall be forfeited to BHBPR. If the reservation period is re-rented, BHBPR will credit the rental amount received to the Renter, less a $200 cancellation fee to cover BHBPR expenses.

Thank you Scott for such a wonderful time. The loons were singing every day and night which made our stay magical. Of course the lobster was outstanding. There was everything we needed in the cabin. I kayaked for the very first time!!!
The perfect Maine vacation!
We had an amazing stay at Dock Holiday! My family and I loved the peaceful surroundings and beautiful view. The house was very comfortable for the four of us. We enjoyed waking up to the sunrise on the pond and kayaking. We took day trips to Bar Harbor and hiked at Acadia as well. The perfect Maine vacation!

We had a great time and the description matched the place very well...
Spacious, comfortable, private, with a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed the screened in porch, the kayaks and canoe, the hammock and outdoor seating, listening for birds (saw an Eagle and an owl) , proximity to Blue Hill, and the gorgeous Maine summer weather. The split/cooling unit in the loft made the loft area very comfortable even on warm afternoons. The large tub in the spacious bathroom on the loft level was a nice bonus. The space was perfect for the five of us (4 adults and one 7 year old). We loved the two eating areas and made use of the new grill. The dirt pond road to the camp was a couple of miles long, but was in very good shape. We took walks along it to stretch our legs/exercise. What a great place in a great spot.

The perfect vacation spot!
Such a special cottage on pristine, beautiful Toddy Pond. Quiet, and remote (but not too far from Blue Hill, Deer Isle, and Acadia), this is the place to go when you want to revel in Maine's beauty and really relax. We spent hours paddling on the lake, sitting on the dock, and swimming in Toddy Pond's crystal clear waters. Meals on the screened in porch were so special, with views of the lake and the smell of pine wafting in the air. It was a thrill to see and hear bald eagles and loons... I even saw an otter running by the lakeside. My family and I had a wonderful vacation here. I hope that we return soon. Blue Hill Bay was very receptive and helpful, as was the property's owner!

We spent a week and a day at camp and had the best time. The camp feels very private and has a great outdoor space with a large yard, dock, small beach perfect for the little ones, a floating dock which was a hit with the older kids, and a hammock - loved by everyone. The inside was exactly as pictured and described. We particularly appreciated the screened in back porch in the evenings. We had a great week and look forward to a future vacation!
