Nestled in a serene corner of Blue Hill, this spacious and charming cottage is just minutes away from the village, making it an ideal getaway for large families or groups, including two families vacationing together. Originally built in 1885 as a summer retreat, this home has been cherished by the same family since the late 1930s. A short path leads you to the tranquil cove, perfect for swimming off the rocks during high tide, kayaking around the inner harbor, or simply unwinding and soaking up the blissful summer days.
The cottage features five bedrooms, equipped with two king beds, one queen bed, and three twin beds. You'll find a half bath on the first floor and three full baths on the second, ensuring ample space for everyone. The kitchen is fully stocked for meal prep, and the generous dining table comfortably seats ten. Gather in the large living room with cozy seating, or step out onto the expansive front porch that invites you to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Blue Hill, perched at the northeastern tip of the Blue Hill Peninsula, is less than an hour's drive from Acadia National Park. This quaint yet lively town boasts unique shops, diverse dining options, art galleries, and a vibrant music scene. Outdoor enthusiasts can hike Blue Hill Mountain or explore the many scenic trails nearby. Responsible dog owners are welcome to bring their furry friends along. Rentals run from Sunday to Sunday.

Cancellation requests must be provided in writing. Our Cancellation Policy is strictly followed and we encourage renters to purchase trip insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
If the Renter desires to cancel this reservation at any time prior to the arrival date, BHBPR will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement Renter for the same time period at comparable rental rates. If no replacement Renter is procured, the entire invoiced amount for the reservation will be due as scheduled, and all deposits paid shall be forfeited to BHBPR. If the reservation period is re-rented, BHBPR will credit the rental amount received to the Renter.
