Enjoy a visit to the Blue Hill Peninsula with a stay at Henry Point, a charming little cottage nestled beside the Bagaduce River, a scenic tidal river emptying into Penobscot Bay, known for its diverse wildlife habitat. The beach, a combination of sand, rocks, and seaweed, is accessed by a convenient board walkway. Guests enjoy easy water access for kayaking directly from the beach.
This cozy, single level cottage includes a small kitchen, dining room, living room and three bedrooms (king, two twins and single twin) and one bathroom with shower. Enjoy the beautiful view and warm breezes from the water side deck, picnic table and hammock. There is a convenient outside shower to rinse off after beach time. There is no TV at this property nor washer/dryer, however there is a laundrymat in Blue Hill, about 15 minutes away.
The area is home to many artisans, unique shops and galleries, a variety of delicious eateries and is about an hour to Acadia National Park. Saturday to Saturday rentals in July and August. Please ask if you'd like to bring your dog. This property rents Saturday to Saturday from late June through Labor Day.

Cancellation Policy for all of our Rental Properties:
Cancellation requests must be provided in writing. The Cancellation Policy is strictly followed and we encourage renters to purchase trip insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
If the Renter desires to cancel this reservation at any time prior to the arrival date, BHBPR will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement Renter for the same time period at comparable rental rates. If no replacement Renter is procured, the entire invoiced amount for the reservation will be due as scheduled, and all deposits paid shall be forfeited to BHBPR. If the reservation period is re-rented, BHBPR will credit the rental amount received to the Renter, less a $200 cancellation fee to cover BHBPR expenses.

Relaxing Spot
This is a classic shore cottage; simple, clean, and functional. Also west facing, so the sunsets over the Bagaduce River are beautiful. The host’s description of amenities is accurate. And the hosts respond quickly to any concerns. We have stayed here three years in a row and would stay again.

We had the most fantastic time at Henry Point!
We had the most fantastic time at Henry Point! The cottage is in the most picturesque location and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets. We launched our stand up paddles boards right from the end of the dock and explored the little islands across from the house. The deck was great for eating our meals and the hammock in the backyard was such a lovely and relaxing touch. The hosts were extremely responsive and even left a complimentary bag of fresh local coffee for us. We couldn't speak more highly of the place and would love to return again in the future!
