Available for monthly rentals October thru May. A great choice for families, with a fenced-in area safe for children and dogs, Linda's Lookout has everything needed for guests to be comfortable. The kitchen, dining and living areas are spacious with large windows and comfortable furnishings, the four bedrooms (queen, double, and two singles downstairs, queen upstairs) are tastefully decorated, and there are two full bathrooms on the main level.Outside, guests can relax on the back deck, enjoying distant views of Cadillac Mountain, the ocean, and islands dotting the bay.
Sedgwick is on the Blue Hill Peninsula, close to a variety of popular restaurants, shops, galleries, well-maintained hiking trails, salt and fresh water access, and is about 45 minutes to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. While not on the water, ocean access is close and guests can enjoy public swimming at nearby Walker Pond and area ocean beaches.
Well-mannered dogs and their responsible owners are welcome, with an additional fee of $150 for up to 2 dogsand a signed pet agreement. Cats cannot be accommodated. Please inquire about monthly rentals October thru May.

Location
The house is located at 6 Torrey Farm Lane in Sedgwick. Torrey Farm Lane is located off the Sedgwick Ridge Road. From the Blue Hill roundabout proceed onto Route 15 (also known as the Mines Road) for 3 ½ miles. Turn left onto Sedgwick Ridge Road and drive 2.2 miles. Torrey Farm Lane is on the right and Linda’s Lookout is the first house on the left. : There is ample parking beside the house. Please park in the parking area and do not block the lane as residents live down the road.

50% of the total amount is due at time of reservation.
The remaining amount is to be paid 60 day(s) before arrival.
Cancellation Policy
All paid prepayments are non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy for all of our Rental Properties:
Cancellation requests must be provided in writing. The Cancellation Policy is strictly followed and we encourage renters to purchase trip insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
If the Renter desires to cancel this reservation at any time prior to the arrival date, BHBPR will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement Renter for the same time period at comparable rental rates. If no replacement Renter is procured, the entire invoiced amount for the reservation will be due as scheduled, and all deposits paid shall be forfeited to BHBPR. If the reservation period is re-rented, BHBPR will credit the rental amount received to the Renter, less a $200 cancellation fee to cover BHBPR expenses.

Wonderful spacious comfortable home...
Loved the fenced in yard for my dog. Big enough for her to run and play and securely fenced. Vista views in all directions from most parts of the house are fabulous. Met the owner, very nice gentleman. Wind storm caused power to go out and generator was supposed to automatically turn on but didn’t. Owner came by right away early in the morning and got it working. That was awesome! Property management folks are exceptional. They provide lots of great information prior to your trip, accessible and easy to deal with. Overall, really exceptional home in a wonderful peaceful area but still close to Blue Hill which is a very nice town.

We loved our stay and will be back! When we arrived we immediately felt comfortable and at home. The house was clean and the kitchen stocked with all the basics including coffee. Each room in the house was warm and inviting, truly like staying with family.

We cannot say enough about Linda's Lookout. A very comfy home with spectacular views of Blue Hill Bay and its islands, along with Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park in the distance. My family and I had a great time exploring the surrounding communities (Stonington on Deer Isle, Acadia, taking a dip in nearby Curtis Cove, and even a very touristy Bar Harbor on a rainy day), cooking and reading on the patio and perhaps best of all, picking wild blueberries found everywhere on the property in early August. It was kind of magical for all of us--most of all for the pre-teens who then proceeded to make a yummy blueberry crumble with 12+ cups of the sun-warmed, sweet-but-not-too-sweet blueberries. So fun to take a long walk and eat blueberries on the way. Our host came and checked on us before we left, which was in keeping with his attentive, responsive style, given the amenities we found inside his house. Just a great experience for families. You won't want to leave!

More spacious than photos depict. We were there in July - surrounded by beautiful flowers, planted and wild! Plus blueberry fields. Gorgeous. Peaceful. Plenty of windows to lookout and enjoy the beauty. Great space for family, friends and dog. Well supplied kitchen. Excellent variety of books for many interests, including for kids. Would absolutely recommend Linda's Lookout.

The property was nicer than expected. The photos don't do it justice. Spacious. Well-lit. On the top of the hill with trees cleared so a magnificent view of Mt. Desert Island on a clear day. The hosts are helpful. We would love to stay again in the future.
