Whether sipping morning coffee as the harbor awakens or marveling at the colors of the sunset as it paints the water, the location offers an opportunity to experience a slower pace of life while marveling at the awe-inspiring view from the covered front porch and deck.
Life on the Water The harbor is your playground here. Spend warm days swimming off the dock, meandering through the harbor in a rented kayak, or simply relaxing to the rhythmic sound of water lapping against the boats moored in the harbor.Â
Convenience: Guests enjoy a short stroll to the local market for supplies and pizza pickup, and to the popular Buck's restaurant for dinner. Just down the road is a 'must-visit' spot, Tinder Hearth, for bread, pizza and cafe goodies.Â
The Home & Accommodations: Take in the idyllic view from the front deck or step out on the back deck and small fenced lawn. Inside, the Captain Black House offers all the comforts of home, including three Smart TVs located in the living room and two of the bedrooms, and board games for family fun.Â

Cancellation requests must be provided in writing. Our Cancellation Policy is strictly followed and we encourage renters to purchase trip insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
If the Renter desires to cancel this reservation at any time prior to the arrival date, BHBPR will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement Renter for the same time period at comparable rental rates. If no replacement Renter is procured, the entire invoiced amount for the reservation will be due as scheduled, and all deposits paid shall be forfeited to BHBPR. If the reservation period is re-rented, BHBPR will credit the rental amount received to the Renter.
