Seventh Heaven is a charming, comfortable cottage on Carter Point Road, a quiet side road with views of the Benjamin River. Relax on the spacious deck watching boats pass by, enjoy leisurely meals, and watch lovely sunsets. There are two folding bikes for guests to use.
The location of Seventh Heaven is ideal, as it allows guests to venture north to Blue Hill or south to Deer Isle and Stonington. Walker Pond, a freshwater swimming and fishing pond, is less than 10 minutes away, as is Nichols Day camp, a well-loved children's camp. Numerous dining options, brew pubs, coffee and wine shops, and a delightful bookstore are all within a short distance drive.
Seventh Heaven has 3 bedrooms, one full bath (with combination tub/shower), one half bath, and one additional toilet, with an open kitchen, dining, and living area. The primary bedroom is spacious and has a king bed and half bath on the first floor. There are two more spacious bedrooms on the second floor, one with a king bed and the other with two twin beds. The house features a heating/cooling system, a smart television, high speed fiber optic internet, and nice selection of books, games and puzzles to enjoy.
Seventh Heaven is best suited for up to four guests due to there being only one shower/tub and no dishwasher. Up to two more guests can be accommodated with an additional fee of $35 per person per day.

Cancellation Policy for all of our Rental Properties:
Cancellation requests must be provided in writing. The Cancellation Policy is strictly followed and we encourage renters to purchase trip insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
If the Renter desires to cancel this reservation at any time prior to the arrival date, BHBPR will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement Renter for the same time period at comparable rental rates. If no replacement Renter is procured, the entire invoiced amount for the reservation will be due as scheduled, and all deposits paid shall be forfeited to BHBPR. If the reservation period is re-rented, BHBPR will credit the rental amount received to the Renter, less a $200 cancellation fee to cover BHBPR expenses.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...
The property was wonderful, and provided the solitude we were looking for. While most attractions are a bit of a drive away, we thoroughly enjoyed the drives in the area, and were aware of the drive times before we stayed. The view of the Bagaduce River was wonderful. We hope to stay again and enjoyed every minute there. Thank you!

Such a great place to stay! The perfect home away from home! Comfy, cozy and the perfect location. The hosts were so easy to work with and 10/10 gracious hosts and hospitality professionals. We will definitely back!
We found the house clean and spotless when we arrived...
We had a lovely week staying at Seventh Heaven at the end of August. The host's instructions on how to check in and check out were clear and worked perfectly. The deck is a great place to hang out, read and watch the boats on the Benjamin River. We found the house clean and spotless when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes, pots and pans, and utensils that we needed. The wifi worked perfectly as did the TV. We used the downstairs bedroom with a king size bed which had a very comfortable mattress and linen sheets - a nice touch. We appreciated that they welcomed pets and were able to bring our small dog. He had a great time.

We were very impressed by this beautiful house. The kitchen was small but very well appointed. There was enough room for our family of four. The nicest thing was: the hosts, Brenda and Chelsea, responded to our request for warm hats, which we needed for a whale watching cruise. They dropped them off at the house. We ended up not going on the cruise but the gesture was so kind.

This was an absolutely amazing spot, and perfect for us and our toddler. The house is beautiful and in a fantastic spot near the water. We did deal with some hot weather, making it hard to cool the upstairs bedrooms, but the AC downstairs was a life saver. We’d definitely come back again!!
Location is great, situated a manageable distance from Acadia National Park...
We had a lovely stay at Seventh Heaven. It’s modern, clean, stylishly furnished, and filled with great books. It was magical to wake up to the sunrise every morning, the sun shining through the windows of the master bedroom added a great start to the day. Location is great, situated a manageable distance from Acadia National Park and located in thecenter of the Blue Hill Peninsula with lots to explore.
A lovely place to go at day's end...
A well appointed and easy to maintain house with a fabulous view of Sedgwick Harbor. Sitting on the deck with morning coffee and greeting the walkers on Carter Point, watching the boats come and go in the background is a rare treat. Carter Point itself is a treat with the boat dock nearby - a lovely place to go at day's end. House is wonderfully located with easy access to Brooklin and Deer Isle. And the hamlet of Sedgwick like a picturesque stage set.

Our stay was top notch - incredible and simple place with everything you need and centrally located for all of the really fun things to do in the area. Bonus - the beds were incredibly comfortable.
Seventh Heaven is a great location from which to explore...
Seventh Heaven features a great location from which to explore Acadia, Deer Isle and Stonington as well as the neighboring towns of Blue Hill, Brooklin and Brooksville. The features of the house make for a comfortable stay. Start the morning off with a walk to the nearby Town Landing down the road or head in the other direction to the end of Carter Point. The location and house amenities make for a great combination. Also, excellent communication with the property managers.
The location is good and it's easy to get to many different tourist attractions and restaurants.
Seventh Heaven is a lovely home. It is nicely furnished and has a wonderful selection of art on the walls. We admired many of the pieces. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice as well. We were able to fix a couple of meals at the house and while the kitchen is small, we were able to find everything we needed to cook. The bathroom off of the kitchen has a shower and tub. They are, however, somewhat hard to access. There is a wall which allows entrance at the back to the tub, which somewhat challenging to maneuver with my disabled son, but was fairly easy for the rest of us. I did not tell the rental company of my son's disabilities, so I don't hold them responsible, it's just merely something for renters to note. And on that note, we would still re-book the home at another time! The home is up to date with nice windows and light coming in. We also enjoyed the front porch and looking out at the beautiful water. It was wonderfully quiet at the home which was a bonus and parking was easy. The location is good as well and it's easy to get to many different tourist attractions and restaurants.
